Ah the land of infinite tapas + sangria, Spain. When thinking of the Spanish, there is much to celebrate about their culture and country; focus on family, siestas, warm weather, The Balearic Islands… the list goes one. One of the latter thoughts that comes to mind is healthy food, let alone plant based food! So I was rather surprised when we headed to Madrid this past weekend to discover that there were many veggie friendly spots, not only that but they were particularly good. Very good.

A Week In Paris

Living in Europe has its perks, hopping on a train and travelling through the countryside for 3 hours and arrive in the centre of Paris is most definitely one of them. Earlier this year, we ventured over to Paris for a beautiful few days, exploring, seeing friends, visiting many galleries, shopping and ofcourseneating lots of delicious food. I found there to be somewhat of a Vegan/Vegetarian food revolution going on at the moment and a huge trend towards health culture in general, comparatively to my visit two years previously. Ubud Travel Guide - Bali, Indonesia

Far and wide wherever I find myself to be,  with whomever I may be speaking to, it seems a not-so-little secret that Ubud is the mecca of all things healthy, yoga and spiritual. More often than not the reputation that precedes a popular travel spot doesn't always quite live up to its the high expectation its garnered. Ubud, as well known as it has become, hasn't lost its charm and essence. Don't get me wrong, there still remains the hustle and bustle side, with many tourists arriving in droves daily, but if you navigate away from this in to quieter parts of the Ubud it is truly beautiful. Partly thanks to the local ex-pat community who have taken great measures to ensure the arts, culture and land are celebrating, also ensuring recycling practices are well in place.
