Melbourne is a foodies paradise. Each time I visit, a new cafe or restaurant pops up that doesn't disappoint. They take coffee, food and cafe culture seriously here in Melbourne. Below are a few of my favourite cafes and restaurant for vegans/non-vegans alike. I was sure to include spots throughout the city, so wherever you may find yourself to be in Melbourne, a tasty vegan meal isn't far away!Read More
Up in the northern Italy, about halfway between Brescia and Verona , and between Venice and Milan on the edge of the Dolomites lies a little piece of magic. In the province of Brescia sits Gardone Rivera, the most picturesque lake side Italian town where the shore meets the mountain and the sun always shines. Our time here was nothing short of a dream, days filled of adventuring, eating too good and living la dolce vita. I'll keep the words to a minimum and let the photos tell you the story of our Italian days... Bellissimo!Read More
Sometime in the late summer of last year, we headed over to The Netherlands for a week long trip to visit Amsterdam and the beautiful northern Netherlands to see the sea, in a little seaside town known as Bergen An Zee. Holland is nothing short of magic, the people, the scenes, the stroop waffles and the overall feel it brings is something so warming. I collated a little photo diary of the trip... EnjoyRead More
Far and wide wherever I find myself to be, with whomever I may be speaking to, it seems a not-so-little secret that Ubud is the mecca of all things healthy, yoga and spiritual. More often than not the reputation that precedes a popular travel spot doesn't always quite live up to its the high expectation its garnered. Ubud, as well known as it has become, hasn't lost its charm and essence. Don't get me wrong, there still remains the hustle and bustle side, with many tourists arriving in droves daily, but if you navigate away from this in to quieter parts of the Ubud it is truly beautiful. Partly thanks to the local ex-pat community who have taken great measures to ensure the arts, culture and land are celebrating, also ensuring recycling practices are well in place.Read More
As mentioned in my previous post, some weeks ago I spent time in London, discovering some amazing restaurants and bars throughout this incredible city. Its no secret that London is home to a great mix of restaurants, cuisines from all over the world are served up daily. There are both ends on the spectrum in London; affordable, informal, hole in the walls' to Michelin starred fine dining and all thats in the middle. The following five are a varied selection, all offering something different yet all produce top notch food and drinks. I hope you find this handy!
1. Granger & Co - Chelsea
Known as Bills in Sydney, Granger & Co is Bill Grangers London offspring. Located throughout London in Clerkenwell, Kings Cross, Notting Hill and Chelsea. The menu is same same but different with many classics carried through. Bills is one of my all time favourites, the staff are crazy friendly, the food is always fresh and flavourful and the drinks and delish. They are super adaptable to vegans and there are numerous options. One of the best meals I've had was at Bills Chelsea, sitting alfresco in their little courtyard, enjoying all the things. A stand out dish would definitely be their yellow curry with brown rice, they replaced the fish for pumpkin. YUM. They also do an amazing vegan chocolate mousse!
2. Yauatcha - Soho
Situated in Soho, Yauatcha is a dim sum teahouse with a London vibe. They serve up the best dim sum and dumplings in town, alongside some other amazing dishes. Great for a night out but be sure to book ahead, they fill out fast!
3. Sketch - Soho
No secret by now, Sketch is home to all that is artsy, creative and a little zany. Great spot for drinks, the food choices for me were limiting as it it quite heavy French inspired but the drinks and desert really good + its an amazing space to see, the bathrooms take you to outta space.
4. Itadaki Zen - Kings Cross
This unassuming little restaurant in the middle of Kings Cross is one of Londons best secrets. A completely plant based, alternative Japanese restaurant, their belief is that food is closely related to human consciousness as well as human body. Its a really unique take on some Japans classics, all food is handmade on the spot, too!
5. Shoreditch House - Shoreditch
Part of the Soho House Group, Shoreditch house is a members' club and hotel in a converted East London warehouse. The Fifth Floor is home to all things food and drink and features an amazing rooftop. They serve amazing salads, think wood fire eggplant with coconut tahini, and amazing
London, as we know it is a busy, bustling, multicultural capital city. Compromised of many boroughs, which seem to play the role of villages to one another, all differing from one to the next, they're like little microcosms with their own unique individual stamp. I love London for many reasons, one been that there is room for everyone, you just have to find your zone.Read More

Earlier this year the 14th July, I found myself in Switzerland, chugging along in a train taking me up to the alps, to a little unbeknownst alpine village known as Grindelwald. I was on my way to compete in my first Eiger Ultra running race, running to save our oceans and fundraise for Oceanic Global.Read More
Earlier this year, I found myself moving from Sydney to Barcelona for several months. It was (& has been) a truly magic period of my life, allowing lots of time for exploration, through which I was determined to unearth some tasty and trendy veggie cafes.Read More
Michelin starred fine dining and vegan food are not usually two things that cross over very often. A few weeks ago, we were in Vienna, to celebrate our beautiful Mausi’s graduation from University. With a few vegetarians and vegans amongst our crowd and an occasion to be celebrated we discovered the amazing Tian. Based in Vienna, Tian is one of Europes only Michelin starred vegan/vegetarian restaurants.Read More
In July, we headed to Ibiza. Having been my first time on the island I have a preconceived idea of what Ibiza was all about… I was thinking all things Avicii, David Guetta, foam parties and glow sticks in a sea of crowded clubs… Not exactly my idea of a holiday!Read More
I am a sun chaser. Throughout the colder months in Australia I generally tend to escape the weather and head away in search of some warmer shores. Although, admittedly, Australian winters are something to be envied, it rarely gets below 10c and usually it is sunshine, minimal rain and clear skies throughout. I seem to be the laughing stock when I tell my overseas friends ‘it got to 15c today, freezing!’Read More
