Sometime in the late summer of last year, we headed over to The Netherlands for a week long trip to visit Amsterdam and beyond. We headed to beautiful northern Holland, to stay by the sea, in a little seaside town known as Bergen An Zee. Holland is nothing short of magic, the people, the scenes, the stroop waffles and the overall feel it brings is something so warming. I collated a little photo diary of the trip... Enjoy.
Fresh ginger mint tea, writing postcards and letters and watching the world go by
Another must go cafe, known as Coffee & Coconuts
A friends little igloo in Amsterdam, he set us up a little Poke bowl station
Head on over to Vondel Park. There's a surprising amount of things to do there. This was a strange little rope walk-through. May seem easy to some but not for the one who gets vertigo (me).
Veggie-full meals after days in the sun.
Bike riding through fields of flowers, meadows, woods and forrests
Dutch delights... There is a huge abundance of nuts and dried fruits in Holland, my favourite inca berries where everywhere!
Dutch kiddies play as the sun sets over the sea
If you find yourself in Bergen An Zee, be sure to head over to a beach built kiosk, have a blanket, warm mint tea and watch the sea.
